Weekly Car Rental in El Salvador — Cheaper by the Week, by Design
Seven separate days cost more than one week. If you are here for a full trip rather than an errand, book the period in one go and the daily rate drops.
A week is how long El Salvador actually takes
The country is small enough to cross in a few hours and varied enough that a week is the length most visitors settle on: a few days on the surf coast, a couple in the west for the volcano and Ruta de las Flores, and a day or two around San Salvador or Suchitoto.
That itinerary is a lot of short drives. On a per-kilometre plan it would add up; here mileage is unlimited, so a week of moving costs the same as a week of sitting still.
Booking the whole week at once is also simply cheaper than seven consecutive daily rentals, and it removes the risk of the car you like being taken halfway through your trip.

What a weekly booking gives you
Lower daily rate
The per-day price on a weekly booking is below the one-day rate. Monthly is lower still.
Unlimited mileage
Coast, volcanoes, the east and back. None of it metered.
Insurance for the full period
Coverage and roadside assistance for the whole week, inside the price, $499 maximum deductible.
Extend without returning
Staying longer? Message us and we extend the booking, subject to the car still being free.
Second driver free
On a week of driving, sharing the wheel matters. It costs nothing extra.
No deposit
Nothing blocked for the week, which on a longer rental is when agencies hold the most.
Booking by the week
Book the full period
Enter your real arrival and departure dates rather than day by day. The weekly rate applies automatically.
Collect on arrival
Delivered at the airport with your flight, or at your hotel if you start a day later.
Extend if plans change
A WhatsApp message is enough. No return trip and no new booking.
Weekly car rental — frequent questions
Is a weekly rental cheaper than daily?
Yes. The daily rate on a weekly booking is lower than renting the same days individually, and a monthly booking is lower again.
What if I need the car for eight or nine days?
Price the week and add the extra days. It is usually still cheaper than nine daily rentals, and we will tell you which combination costs less.
Can I extend once I am already here?
Yes, as long as the vehicle is still free. Message us on WhatsApp and we extend it without you returning the car.
Is there a mileage cap on a weekly rental?
No. Mileage is unlimited on every rental, whatever the length.
Is a deposit required for a longer rental?
No. There is no deposit at any rental length, which is a difference that grows with the period since agencies typically hold more on longer bookings.
What if I have to cut the trip short?
Tell us as soon as you know and we will collect the car early. Contact us before the return date rather than after.
