Is there an excess on the hire?
No amount is blocked on your card. Your financial exposure is limited to a $499 deductible, and only if an accident occurs.
Is insurance compulsory in El Salvador?
Liability cover is required by law and it is already included in the price you are quoted, so there is nothing to buy on collection.
Can I hire a car with a UK, Canadian or Australian licence?
Yes. A valid licence from your home country is accepted for up to 90 days. An international driving permit is not required.
What is the minimum hire period?
One day, with no minimum commitment. Weekly and monthly hires carry a lower daily rate.
Is a credit card required?
No. Because no excess is held, a debit card works for the booking.
What happens if I damage the car?
